Which stones do we use in our earrings?

Not every stone earring is the same. Here are the different types you will find in our collection and how to recognise each one.

Rhinestones and crystals

Rhinestones are cut glass stones that reflect the light in bright, sharp flashes. They create the most noticeable sparkle and look particularly striking in silver-tone settings.

Gemstones

Gemstones have a deeper and warmer glow than rhinestones. Rather than simply sparkling, they seem to hold on to their colour.

Our Gemstone Hoops combine several colourful stones on a gold-tone base, giving you multiple shades to coordinate with your outfit in a single pair.

Pearls

Pearls might not technically be considered traditional stones, but they do the same job: they capture the light and bring it towards your face, only more softly.

Gold earrings with colourful stones

Gold and colour are a combination that rarely goes wrong. The warm undertone of gold makes every stone colour appear richer. Reds become deeper, greens become more vibrant and pastels gain a little extra warmth.

Silver earrings with stones

Silver brings out something different in a stone than gold does. It removes the warmth and leaves a clean, bright finish. That is why our silver designs are some of the most sparkling pieces in the collection.

The Frost Hoops take things in an even cooler direction, with a bright, clean and icy appearance.

Long earrings with stones for movement and sparkle

Long stone earrings can do something studs cannot: they move. With every step, nod and laugh, they catch the light all over again. This makes long earrings with stones perfect for evenings, parties and any moment when you want to be noticed.

The Silver Bow Hoops are our longest design. They feature a bow shape with delicate rhinestone strands that fall smoothly alongside your neck. They are bold, but their slim silhouette keeps them looking refined rather than heavy.

Looking for something long but a little more understated? The Crystal Rain Hoops are the subtler choice, offering the same vertical movement with less volume.

Materials: why our earrings keep shining

Our earrings are made from stainless steel, plated with 14K gold or finished in a silver tone. This is a deliberate choice: stainless steel is resistant to discolouration, will not turn your skin green and is suitable for everyday wear.

In practical terms, this means you do not need to remove your earrings while doing the washing-up, walking in the rain or heading to the gym. Store them somewhere dry and occasionally wipe them clean with a soft cloth to keep your stone earrings looking their best.

Create your own ear party

Many of our earrings are available individually or as a pair, and that is no coincidence. We do not believe that two identical earrings are the only way to wear them.

Pair a long stone earring on one side with a small stud earring on the other. Mix silver and gold together — yes, you really can. Or stack several small hoops in one ear while keeping the other side simple.
